On the vertical icon menu on the left, I selected the square crop or Selections tool. Now I cannot turn it off and every command I give it ends up as a selections. I tried the "Select None" command under the Selections menu and sometimes it is grayed out, but it never turns off the Selections icon. Shouldn't it be a toggle switch? I can turn it off by selecting another function from the vertical menu. ARRRGgghhh! I am totally stopped in my project! Help please!

To turn off the selction simply click on the Selections -> Select None menu.
