Manually RESET and reinstall Photo Pos Pro
Sometimes another 3rd app you have may change some of the system files/config. Due to that uninstalling and reinstalling using the PPP installer will not fix the problem.
To solve the problem and totally reset and reinstall PPP simply follow these instructions:
1) Uninstall Photo Pos Pro, if the uninstall does not work skip this stage.
2) Enter to the software directory ("c:\program files\photo pos pro" by default) and delete the software files that left within it.
NOTE: if you saved your own files in the software directory make sure to not delete theme when you delete the software files.
3) Download PPP reset tool from:
http://www.photopos.com/downloads/PosDiagnostic.zip4) Unzipped the tool to your desktop.
5) Shut down all runing applications.
6) Windows Vista users:
Right click on the tool at your desktop to and select "Run as Administrator" from the pop up menu to run the tool as administrator.
Windows XP Users:
Double click on the tool at your desktop to open and run it.
7) On the tools screen click on the Reset button. The tool now will reset and backup all Photo Pos Pro's level1 shared files (files that may be in use by more apps you have and may have been changed by one of them).
8) Reinstall Photo Pos Pro, the latest version may be downloaded from:
http://www.photopos.com/photoposfreeTrail.asp9) Re-Installing Photo Pos Pro will put back in place all the files that had been reset.
Never use this tool after re-installing Photo Pos Pro since this will reset all the files again and the software will not run unless you'll reinstall it over again.
