File Menu
This menu contains all the functions related to files such as opening and saving files, importing and scanning files, printing files, configuration of the program's options and more.
New

Dragging Files Options
New
Pressing this sub-menu will open the New sub menu image which is used to create a new blank or template based image.
To Create New Blank Image
Click on File -> New -> Blank menu
The New Blank Image Dialog Box
is used to create a new blank image. The dialog box contains a number of commands through which it is possible to define the characteristics of the new image:
Width
- Defines the width of the image.
Height
- Defines the height of the image.
Units Dropdown Box
A selection box through which you may select which units will be used to define the Height and Width values.
Preserve Aspect Ratio Checkbox
- When this option is marked , the original Height/Width ratio will be preserved. When filling in new values for either Height or Width, the other will be filled in automatically.
Resolution
- Defines the resolution of the new image.
New Image Color/Style Box:
Standard
- Shows a selection box through which it is possible to select the a standard style/color of the new image.
Customize
- Allows you to select
custom style
of the new image. For more info about styles please

Advanced Box:
Create as Vectorial
- When this option is marked the image fill style will be created as a vectorial style
Link to Style Picker
- When this option is marked, whenever you'll select this image layer the layer fill style will be link to the fore style picker and will allow you to easily set/edit the layer style
Render Clipping Mode
- Defines how the effects of this image layer will be rendered
To Create New Template Based Image
select the desired template from the File -> New menu and follow the instructions on the New Template Based Image wizard screen.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the New sub-menu.
Open
This sub-menu is used to open existing image files for editing purposes. Pressing on this sub-menu will present the Open dialog box where you can select the image file you wish to open. The Open dialog box is a standard Windows common dialog based box.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Open sub-menu.
Save
Pressing this sub-menu will save the existing image.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Save sub-menu.
Save As
Pressing this button will open the Save As dialog box used to save a new copy of the image being worked on (the active image). It is possible to save the new image with a new name and/or a new format. The Save As dialog box is a standard Windows common dialog based box
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Save As sub-menu.
Set File Password
With this function you can set a password for fpos file types (the file format of the software. The function is only available when the file type of the image is the aforementioned fpos). Pressing the sub-menu will open a dialog box through which it is possible to define/change/cancel the file's password. In order to perform the desired operation, you must follow the directions that appear on the screen.
The definition/change/cancellation of the file's password will only take effect after the file's next save.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Set File Password sub-menu.
Acquire (Scan/Import)
This sub-menu (function) is used to import images from digital devices (such as scanners and digital cameras) that work with the Twain interface. Pressing this sub-menu will open the device interface (defined by default) in order import images (for example: if you have a scanner installed on your computer, press this sub-menu to scan a image on to your computer). In case more than one device supporting the Twain interface is installed on your computer (for instance a computer with both a scanner and a digital camera) you can select the device you wish to import from using the Select Twain Source sub-menu.
The program supports only image files. It is not possible to import into the program a image file containing unique additives such as sound. In case there is an attempt to import a image containing unique additives such as sound, usually, only the image will be imported to the program.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Acquire sub-menu.
Select Twain Source
Pressing this sub-menu will open a dialog box where you can select a digital device (such as a scanner or a digital camera, etc.) that works with the Twain interface. After selecting the device with the dialog box, that device will become the default device. In order to import images from the device use the Acquire function.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Select Twain Source sub-menu.
Print
Pressing this sub-menu will open the print preview dialog box.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Print sub-menu.
Page Setup
Pressing this sub-menu will open the page (print) setup dialog box.
To get to this sub-menu, select the File menu and then select the Page Setup sub-menu.
Dragging Files Options
Defines what happens when dragging image files onto open image (when no image is open dragging a file into the editor will always open it)
Open as New Image
- The dragged file will be opened for edit
Set as Object Content
- The dragged file will be set as the new style of the layer which it is dragged on to
Add Into Current Image (As Object)
- The dragged file will be added as a new layer on the image which it is dragged on to
